NISSAN PATROL Y62 4200KG GVM UPGRADE TO SUIT 2013 TO CURRENT
Suits all Australian models from 2013 to current. This upgrade is available for pre first registration (SSM Approved) or post first registration with a VSCCS engineers report.
This kit is only available to suit HBMC equipped vehicles only, it DOES NOT suit coil and (traditional) shock absorber equipped Y62 Patrols.
This Y62 Patrol GVM Upgrade kit is configurable to suit your individual load requirements, we upgrade the factory springs (front and rear) to suit your needs.
This Y62 Patrol upgrade consists of 4200kg GVM upgrade with reduced towing capacity to 2800kg brake tow capacity if the payload is less than 4200kg.
GVM Upgrades for Y62 Patrol need to have the load applied to the vehicle at the time of fitting the suspension system, we cannot over spec a spring to suit future loads so it's important that we have dialogue before making any recommendations about what spring rates you need.
The GVM upgrade kit includes,
Front coil springs, to suit;
- No Bar | No winch
- Bullbar | No winch
- Bullbar | Winch
Rear coil springs, to suit;
- 150kg to 250kg of load
- 250kg to 350kg of load
- 450kg to 550kg of load
Front upper control arms
Heavy Duty lower control arms load rated to 2550kg
Installation of front and rear springs, heavy duty lower rear control arms, offset rear bushes, front upper control arms, refill and pressurise HBMC hydraulic systems, HBMC hydraulic fluid, tooling costs, freight and a front and rear wheel alignment.
Vehicle requires CAT6 indicators via fender mounted indicators or specific towing mirrors specially built with the required indicators. These indicators are not included in the advertised price.
Your vehicle needs wheels will need a minimum of 1275kg load rating for pre and post first registration GVM upgrades.

Rear airbags are included and custom solutions are available with in vehicle air compressors and remote (wireless) control systems are available.
Post first registrations upgrade require engineers reports which are available and additional costs will apply if the vehicle has other accessories, like long range fuel tanks or other non compliant modifications.
The price listed is the minimum investment option available and includes airbags and ssm documents/engineers report (if required).
Given that the upgrade increases the payload capacity to over 1 tonne and the vehicle category changes to NB (from MC) which is effectively a goods carry vehicle you may be able to apply for a Luxury Car Tax (LCT) exemption which could save you thousands off the contract price of the vehicle.
